Title: You Didn't Complete Me Author: JoAnna Harris Publisher: W Publishing Group iSBN: 0-8499-4525-9 Genre: Inspirational/Nonfiction/Relationships
You Didn't Complete Me is a funny look at why breaking up is hard to do. JoAnna Harris has been there—twice. In this candidly written book she will take you through the relationship as she attempts to dissect exactly what went wrong and why it ended.
You Didn't Complete Me reads kind of like a chick-lit in ways, it is funny, sarcastic, and heartbreakingly honest as it looks at JoAnna’s relationships with the opposite sex.
Intermingled with the text in the book are lists including suggestions on:
How to survive the first ten days Advice you don’t want to hear after a major breakup Top ten things to do after a breakup Confessions of an ex-girlfriend Top ten reasons why I’m better off without him And more!
Even though it’s been many years since I went through a major breakup, I could easily put myself in JoAnna’s place and remember the emotions that I had to work through when my relationship ended. I think that this book would be beneficial for any young woman to read through as they work healing after loosing “the one”. I don’t think that men would relate well to this book as it is written from a totally feminine point of view—and most men don’t react in feminine ways.
If you or a close friend or relative are working through a breakup, I highly recommend You Didn't Complete Me. I think it will help the healing process considerably. $12.99. 192 pages.
