Come on a journey …

While delivering relief supplies to Southern Sudan, Paul Farid’s plane is riddled with bullets, leaving him injured and stranded in the midst of combat. Paul has seen both sides of the conflict, but now his loyalties lie with the South - loyalties that are questioned by many around him who know his secretive past.

Doctor Larson Kerr struggles to help the wounded members of her own village as she grieves the kidnapping of the girl she treasures as a daughter by rebel forces. Now she also faces the loss of Nyok, the boy she loves as a son. Only twelve, he has seen his share of sorrow, but desires to join the army under Colonel Alier to revenge the death of his family.

Paul and Larson are thrown together as each seeks to find a way to help the people of Southern Sudan.

DiAnn Mill’s writes a compelling story that gripped me from the start and showed me how God calls each of us to service.  Through Paul and Larson we learn that each of us has a different calling and that we must be obedient to God to find complete fullness in our lives.

The Readers Guide at the end helps readers to fully understand the theme of this book by asking questions that will expand and inform the reader, encouraging them to hunt out God’s Word on topics the novel raises.

Come on a journey … enter a new world, a world of conflict, a world where hope shines in the hearts of the people.
