Title: Unspoken Author: Angela Hunt Publisher: Westbow Press ISBN: 0-8499-4482-1 Genre: Inspirational/Contemporary/Fiction Custody battles are heart-rending for any parent. Glee Granger, though not the parent, finds herself embroiled in a one-of-a-kind custody battle. She’s cared for Sema eight years. Now the zoo wants the gorilla back. A research study has turned into a lifestyle for the scientist. When the zoo director decides it’s time for Sema to return to the zoo, Glee brings in her lawyer brother to fight for custody. However, the zoo wins. Glee joins the zoo staff to keep an eye on Sema and help her acclimate. Her co-worker, Brad Fielding expresses a romantic interest, but Glee can only see Sema as important. A near-death experience for the gorilla results in questions Glee can’t answer. Does God exist? Does he care about our everyday life? The gorilla is curious. Glee needs answers. Angela Hunt has written an extraordinary tale which makes the reader wonder what would animals tell us if they could speak?
