Reporter Clay Whitefield is running in circles trying to keep up with the ladies of the Potluck Club. After all, they have more things going on and more secrets than most residents of their town.
Goldie has finally left her cheating husband, Jack, but now Jack is bending over backwards to win her back. Lizzie’s married son has left his wife and moved back home. Vonnie is having marital difficulties because of a long held secret. Lisa Leann’s pregnant daughter is put on bed rest while visiting her and she’s forced to play caregiver. Donna is dealing with demons from her past. And Evie . . . well, who is she engaged to again?
The Potluck Club: Trouble's Brewing is the second book in The Potluck Club series. A preview to the third book in the series is included at the rear of this book, as well as a whole slew of delicious sounding recipes.
I loved this book, and couldn’t put it down. There was enough action to keep my interest, and I wondered how the ladies would get out of some of the problems. I recommend reading the first book in the series before this one, because the stories are a continuation. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. This was a great story, well-written, with believable characters and a expertly woven in faith message. Pick up The Potluck Club: Trouble's Brewing today. $12.99. 378 pages. |
