Three Questions to Heal A Marriage is a practical Biblically based workbook designed for the lay counselor or professional to use when working with a Christian couple having marriage problems. The beginning pages stress the need for commitment to a marriage. Once that groundwork is laid, the questions are unveiled.
Couples must work through and answer what is being shared, what is being admitted, and what is being confronted. Underpinned with Scriptures, each question’s relevancy is explored and explained. A useful appendix in the book has worksheets and flowcharts to use in counseling sessions. These allow for independent reflections for each partner in the marriage.
It is obvious Dr. Bauers knows her subject matter. Her examples and questions are good, and the worksheets excellent. It is the reader’s hope many marriages will be strengthened by this book. |
