Title: Terror At Wolf Lake Author: Max Elliot Anderson Publisher: Tweener Press ISBN: 0-9729256-6-X Genre: Inspirational/Juvenile/Fiction
Twelve-year-old Eddy cheats, steals, and is headed back to juvenile detention if he doesn’t get his life straightened out. But what would you expect from a boy who idolized notorious gangster John Dillenger? Besides, everything he’s learned about beating the system he got from his own father?
Just before Christmas vacation, Eddy goes dumpster diving behind his teacher’s house and hits pay dirt—he’s not going to have to study for the big history test after all. But when he shares his find with best friends Chet and Rusty, they want nothing to do with it.
When the boys and their dads head out for a winter weekend of ice fishing at Wolf Lake, Eddy just knows this is going to be a great trip. But strange things start happening, and he discovers he doesn’t know his best friends as well as he thought he did. Then something happens that changes his life forever.
I liked how Terror at Wolf Lake was full of action and excitement at every turn of the page! This book reads like a 3-D movie! Max Elliot Anderson is an amazing author, and I definitely look forward to reading all of his books!
