Title: Second Opinion Author:
Hannah Alexander Genre: Inspirational/Medical/Suspense A fresh start. For ER nurse, Lauren McCaffrey, a move to a new city seems the perfect solution. It would provide her with new beginning in her career and an escape from her family's humiliating pressure to find her a husband. Dr. Grant Sheldon transfers to the Dogwood Springs, Missouri hospital from St. Louis. He's looking for a nurturing environment for his sixteen year old twins. But he doesn't find the small town as free from problems as he thought. Archer Pierce is a young minister. He works 24/7 for the Lord. His ex-fiancée, Jessica, didn't want to be married to a pastor. And the church recently hired him, believing he'd soon be married. When a mysterious epidemic threatens Dogwood Springs; Grant, Lauren and Archer find themselves racing the clock in a desperate search for answers. Someone has already died from this illness. Can they find the answers before anyone else does? Book 1 in the Healing Touch series, Second Opinion is an extremely well-written book. It kept me on the edge of my seat. If you enjoy ER on television, you will love Hannah Alexander's medical thriller. |
