But her arrival in town is a bit unusual. Run off the road, by a herd of deer, she crashes into a tree—and discovers the tree has better pain tolerance than she does. Ranger Taylor Jackson is called to the scene to rescue Karah Lee, but the strong willed doctor makes him more than glad to keep his distance. When he watches her interact with patients though, Taylor begins to feel stirrings of attraction. Attempting to escape Branson, Missouri, leads Fawn into more difficulties than she could ever imagine. Can she find someone she can trust to help her? Or will the real killer get to her first? I was instantly drawn into Safe Haven and within the first few pages cared deeply for both Fawn and Karah Lee. At first I couldn’t figure out how a doctor working in one town, and a girl in another town could possibly be intertwined, but I’d read enough of Hannah Alexander’s work to know that somehow their two stories would merge together. I wasn’t disappointed. Safe Haven is a page turner guaranteed to keep you at the edge of your seat. I couldn’t read the story fast enough. I had to find out what would happen next. Would Fawn escape from the killer she knows is after her? Will Karah Lee reach out to Taylor in spite of his reserves? Read Safe Haven to find out.
