Bernadette Malone was too promiscuous as a teenager, but not by choice. Now she has dedicated her life completely to God’s service. However, her past seems to have caught up with her. Three women from her former life have been murdered, and it seems that Bernadette is next on the hit list.

Border patrol agent Owen Carmichael is in Mexico delivering a plane full of food to a mission where Bernadette volunteers, and checking up on her. Right before he leaves, Bernadette comes tearing down the road, saying someone is shooting at her and she needs to get out of town. Owen is up to the challenge—until he discovers that the hit man has shot his gas tanks. Now they have crash landed in a barn with the hit man hot on their tails.

Bernadette is insisting that she needs to get to Memphis immediately. But when disaster after disaster hits will they even make it to the U.S. border? And if they do, how will they cross when Bernadette has left with out any of her papers she needs to cross the border?

On Wings of Deliverance is book three in The Texas Gatekeepers series, but it easily stands alone. I thoroughly enjoyed every page of On Wings of Deliverance and read it straight through. This book, unlike the others, really doesn’t have anything to do with patrolling the border, but it still had plenty of action.

The faith message in On Wings of Deliverance is expertly woven into this exciting tale. I couldn’t put the book down once I started it. If you enjoy reading romantic suspense, you will not want to miss On Wings of Deliverance. Pick it up today at your favorite retailer. Discussion questions are included at the end making it ideal for small group study. $4.99. 248 pages.
