Eight-year-old Jordan Wright has already prayed about his wish—but so far nothing has happened. Deciding a letter would get more attention from a busy God, he sits down and, using his best penmanship, writes a letter asking God for a new daddy for Christmas.

Attorney Megan Wright stopped believing in love when her father left. She grew up and married, but she and her husband never loved each other. It was no big loss when her husband died of a sudden heart attack—except for her son, Jordan, who deeply loved his father.  Now Jordan is causing problems at home and at school and Megan is at a loss how to deal with them.

Deciding to enroll Jordan in a program for Healing Hearts, Megan hopes to find a man to be a special friend for Jordan. When restaurant owner, Casey Cummins, is assigned to befriend Jordan, Megan knows that her prayers have been answered. Casey is everything she could hope for in a friend for Jordan—and more. But how much more, she never dreamed . . . .

Maggie's Miracle is a small hardcover gift book, the second in The Red Glove Series. I easily read it in one sitting, and couldn’t wait to see what happened next. Megan is a bit rough around the edges at first but she began to loosen up as the story progressed. I instantly liked Jordan and Casey and related easily to them.

I really loved this story and it’s going to be gaining a place on my keeper shelf. Maggie's Miracle is a sweet, appealing story that instantly captured my heart. This would make a wonderful gift for readers on your Christmas list.
