Title: A Love for Safekeeping Genre: Inspirational/Romantic/Suspense In A Love for Safekeeping, author Gail Gaymer Martin, takes us on a journey of suspense with school teacher, Jane Conroy, who is being stalked by an unknown man. Martin’s writing is so vivid the reader is whisked along with Jane as she encounters scary pranks and suspenseful moments. When officer Kyle Manning shows an interest in her, will Jane fall for him? A bad past with her late police officer father, it’s not likely she’ll let her heart go to this man in blue. Kyle is determined to have a relationship with her, but at what cost? Jane and Kyle are both Christians but Kyle’s walk with the Lord has become somewhat stagnant and Jane appears to not want anymore to do with God. Gail Gaymer Martin always weaves a good tale and A Love for Safekeeping is no exception. She has masterfully woven faith, love and suspense through this story. My favorite line: Like a child fearing the monster beneath her bed, Jane had lived with her feet hidden beneath the covers of warped memories, never touching the floor of truth. Wow. A Love for Safekeeping is a must read for anyone who enjoys suspense, romance and a great story. | |
