Title: Like Always Author: Robert Elmer Publisher: Waterbrook Press ISBN: 978-1-4000-7165-4
Will Sullivan hates his job, so he and his wife, Meritt, decide to buy a small, rundown resort in Northern Idaho. Their two young daughters are happy about the move, but Michael, their older son, newly home from Iraq, isn’t so enthused. The townspeople aren’t all that welcoming at first, either, but gradually they become more accepting.
Will and Meritt learn to love the resort, the girls are thrilled with the new experiences, and even Michael is coming around. Then Meritt learns she is pregnant. Suddenly their little corner of paradise is hit with a devastating problem and Will and Meritt must make an agonizing decision.
Robert Elmer knows how to tell a gripping, emotional story that leaves the reader begging for more. Like Always will grab your heartstrings and never let go.
