Title: Heir of the Forgotten Realm Author: Michael J. Svigel Publisher: Tweener Press ISBN: 0-9787316-3-8 Genre: Inspirational/Tweeners/Fantasy
The annual Spring Festival of Trallia has always been wrought with surprises. But they have never been deadly—until now. At the betrothal celebration of Lord Lukas and Princess Lillia, an evil dragon snatches Lillia while Lukas cowers in fear.
Lukas’ fear of fire has cost him the ultimate price: the girl he loves. In an attempt to redeem himself and save Lillia, Lukas must face his fears and pass tests of temperance, wisdom, justice, and courage. He must also find four pieces of armor that alone have the power to defeat the dragon. Will Lukas be able to rescue Lillia, or is she gone forever?
Heir of the Forgotten Realm is the first book I’ve ever read by Michael J. Svigel and I kind of liked it. It is good because it held my interest all the way through the book. I didn’t like it because it’s one of the books that is easy to put down and isn’t one that I’d care to read again.
As a whole, I would recommend this book to any boy or girl that likes fantasy. It is well-written, and even through it is written in an imaginary world, it had the grounds of reality and I could see the events happening. Fantasy fans will not want to miss HEIR OF THE Heir of the Forgotten Realm. Pick it up for your favorite tweener today. $10.95. 119 pages.
