Kara Richardson has decided not to date anymore. After all, she’s made some pretty bad dating decisions in the past, and now she wants what God wants. But that decision couldn’t have come at a worse time…

When Kara first laid eyes on Gabe Paolino, she is interested. Really, really interested. And Gabe is interested too. He goes all out to join the club that Kara’s a personal trainer at, and to immerse himself in her circle of friends.

When unexpected circumstances send Kara and Gabe on a road trip from Virginia to Florida, Kara’s vow of not dating is challenged daily. A group of family and friends tag along making the journey entertaining and full of surprises. Is something unplanned, unforeseen, and unimagined just around the corner for this uncouple?

The Guy I’m Not Dating is just as fun as I imagined it would be. Kara is a klutzy heroine, and just so adorable. Her friends are just as sweet, and seem to be trying to push Kara and Gabe together as much as possible.

The faith message is present and does tend to get a little preachy at times, but it isn’t bad. Fans of romance will love this quirky, light-hearted book. It has several laugh out loud moments in it and is guaranteed to be a book you’ll totally love. You’ll also want to look for Ms. Perry’s next book coming in summer 2007. $12.99. 342 pages.
