Amy never dreams her first night in Lexington will find her locked in the arms of a handsome stranger, hiding in a tiny closet during an armed robbery of a convenience store. "You can trust me," he whisper’s in her ear, but that’s something she knows she can never truly do. Forever grateful to Matt Wynn for saving her life, Amy begs for a way to repay him. When he explains he needs a date to attend three weddings with him over the next few months, she very reluctantly agrees. At least it would ensure that she’d get to see him again, but attending a wedding is the last thing this jilted bride wants to do. When he doesn’t feel that spark he expects to feel for a future wife, Matt decides that God has placed Amy in his path so that he can help her learn to trust people again and find peace with her God. When their friendship crosses the line to something more, both Matt and Amy back off. Can Amy ever learn to trust Matt’s love for her enough to walk down the aisle? Will Matt put aside his fear of commitment or lose his best friend and possibly the answer to his prayers? A Groom Worth Waiting For has a truly explosive beginning. This book is an enjoyable trip in a beautiful setting. Travel with Matt and Amy on their journey as they learn to trust God and each other. Crystal Stovall has done an excellent job in this book of showing that everything we face happens for a reason.
