Title: The Great American Supper Swap Author: Trish Berg Publisher Life Journey-Cook Communications ISBN 978-0-7814-4388-3 Genre: Nonfiction/Meal Planning
Trish says. “Supper Swapping is really life sharing. It’s a way to show our love by helping nourish families with more than just food.”
Are you and your family eating on the go? Do you find yourself with no time to cook nourishing meals? How would you like the freedom of just cooking one night a month instead of seven nights? Supper Swapping may be the answer for you.
A typical week of supper swapping starts with a schedule of who does what. Trish includes a sample schedule, which is easy to understand. She even has a list of things to discuss at your first meeting. She’s been there and she leads her reader every step of the way. She also includes spiritual helps and the recipes alone are worth the price of the book. I’ve marked several of them for future use.
Supper swapping is a new idea for me, but I can see how it would work really great. If you’re interested in forming your own group, Trish Berg’s The Great American Supper Swap will show you how to get started. She also has some Potluck Activities, for getting to know each other at your meetings. If you’re tired of cooking seven nights a week, maybe you’re ready for supper swapping.
