Title: Germ Author: Robert Liparulo Publisher: WestBow ISBN: 0-7852-6178-8 Genre: Inspirational/Thriller
Despesorio Vero appeared in Atlanta with firsthand knowledge of an impending disaster that held worldwide ramifications: the spread of an advanced form of Ebola. Hoping to meet with the CDC National Center for Infectious Diseases director, he instead saw Special Agent Goodwin Donnelley, who needed to be certain Vero wasn’t a terrorist. As they began to talk, shots tore up the building hitting both men. Donnelley shoved Vero in his car to escape knowing his partner Julia Matheson had his back.
Julia gave chase and lost her partner. When she found him through the clues he left, she had to decide who was worth trusting. Law enforcement agencies had been compromised. Dr. Allen Parker was on duty when the gunshot victims appeared and that changed his life forever. He and Julia were soon swept up in a race against germ warfare.
With technologically advanced help, computer savvy Julia engaged Parker and his pastor brother to help her battle evil. But would they be in time to save any of the ten thousand on a hit list?
Intense and believable, Liparulo’s book will keep you flipping pages rapidly. The tightly woven story leads the reader on a chase to find an end to a frightening scenario. Excellent read.
