The Final Storm is book three of Wayne Thomas Batson’s the Door Within  Trilogy. Antoinette is a captive of Kearn, who is The Realm Glimpse of Robbie, Aidan’s friend. Antoinette tries to convince Kearn to reject the Dark Prince and turn to King Eliam, the wise monarch of Alleble. The Wyrm Lord is free and the armies of the Dark Prince are marching to Alleble.

Aidan, who is back in the natural world meets with Robby, trying to convince him that The Realm is real. While they are talking, Aidan is pulled back into The Realm. All of Alleble is preparing for the battle against the forces of evil. Will Victory belong to King Eliam, or to Paragor, the Dark Prince.

The Final Storm is just as spellbinding as The Door Within and The Rise of the Wrym Lord, books one and two of this entertaining series. Although it is described as teen fiction, readers of all ages will enjoy the fascinating world of The Realm. I finished The Final Storm with a pang of regret that it was the end of the series. If you like fantasy, a rousing battle between the forces of good and evil, I strongly recommend all three of these books of Wayne Thomas Batson’s The Door Within Series.
