Title: Eyes of Elisha Genre: Inspirational/Contemporary/Suspense/Thriller Chelsea Adams, wife and mother of two, is a new Christian who experiences visions from God. All of her visions have served to thwart impending danger. Until now. Chelsea enjoys a business dinner with her husband, Paul, and Gavil Harrison, Paul’s promising candidate for vice president of sales. When Paul leaves momentarily, Chelsea experiences a trance-like state in which she becomes the victim of a horrifying murder. Coming back to reality she is met by the guilty glare of Gavil, and she senses the presence of evil. How does Chelsea describe such a vision to her husband? He is not a believer. How does she tell the police she has seen a vision from God? The readers will stay in suspense throughout the case – but then must be prepared for surprises when the intensity increases, and Brandilyn Collins pushes the characters to their very limits. Eyes of Elisha reads like a New York Times best-selling thriller with all the punches you would expect, and with the addition of the Christian dimension, it is sure to satisfy. |
