Genre: Inspirational/Romantic/Suspense

Search and Rescue worker Dannelle Lundeen is in northern Minnesota, training a search and rescue dog for the local police department. The dog is near certification when she learns about a teenage girl wandering in the wilderness. Against the sheriff’s orders, Dannelle takes her dog out into the woods to hunt for the girl.

Will Masterson is worried about the lost teenager as she holds the key to national secrets, and terrorists are hot on her trails. When he learns Dani and her dog are tracking the girl, he thinks it will make his search a little easier if he trails along after her. But Dani believes that Will is a reporter, and sparks fly.

When the situation turns dangerous, Will tries to send Dani home, but by that time, she’s committed to finding the girl and refuses to leave. But the terrorists will stop at nothing to get to the girl first. Will Will and Dani be able to find the girl and get her to safety before it’s too late?

Escape To Morning is the second book in the Team Hope series, but it easily stands alone. Readers will want to read the first book in the series before Escape To Morning as some previous characters come back to help in the search.

Dani is a strong, courageous woman, willing to go the extra mile to find a lost child. Will is a Homeland Security Agent, a career that sometimes forces him to lie whether he likes it or not.

Readers will care about Ms. Warren’s three dimensional characters and will want to find out what happens to them. The faith message is expertly woven in and is not intrusive. An excerpt from the next book in the series, Expect the Sunrise, is included at the back of the book. $11.99. 305 pages.
