A Currier & Ives Christmas is an interesting anthology of four novellas, all about what is happening behind the scenes in a Currier & Ives painting.

In The Snow Storm, Lynn A Coleman, weaves an enchanting story. When Michael Farley goes out hunting the Christmas goose, he doesn’t expect to find a woman half-buried in the snow. He takes her home to thaw out, and Angela Harris immediately becomes a help with the widower’s two young sons…and a source of his attraction. If he proposes marriage, will it be for the love of the woman or her cooking?

Image of Love, written by JoAnn A. Grote, gives us a glimpse into Mantie Clark's life. She's living with one brother and his wife and raising another, deceased, brother’s children. Mantie doesn’t mind adding Lane Powell to the family’s Christmas circle as another brother, but after losing her first love to the War Between the States, Mantie isn’t interested in a suitor. A moonlight ride starts to soften her resolve, but the risk of loving may be too great for her scarred heart.

DiAnn Mills authored Dreams and Secrets?a moving story about Emma Leigh Carter. Emma works at the Jones Inn near Philadelphia and enjoys her new task of arranging the Christmas gift exchange for the staff. Thad Benson is the shy stable manager who goes quietly about his business. Will Emma guess that the gentle man in the stables could be giving her such thoughtful, romantic gifts during the Christmas week?

In Deborah Raney's Circle of Blessings, Stella Bradford has finally found the love of her life. It doesn’t matter to her that he is her English professor at the university or that he seems to be hiding something from his past. But convincing her father that James Collingwood is the man she should marry is going to be a daunting task.

A Currier & Ives Christmas is well-written and is a great book to curl up with in front of the fire this winter. I thoroughly enjoyed every story in this book. It will hold your interest to the end.
