Title: Cords of Love
Author: Lynn
A. Coleman ISBN: 1-586-60620-4 Genre: Inspirational/Romance
Renee Austin vowed never to fall in love with her boss again. The first time, had been a disaster. Despite her resolve, her new boss, Aaron Chapin, with his dark Spanish good looks, stirs her heart more than she knows is good for her.
It’s been two long years since the accident that killed Aaron Chapin’s wife and left him a single parent. Aaron’s whole focus has been to keep his web design business running and to be a good father to his four-year-old son Adam. Now Renee has crept into his life, and Aaron can’t deny his growing attraction to his lovely assistant.
Aaron discovers someone is stealing his presentation ideas, and he is grateful for Renee’s help tracking down the culprit. Together, they put in long, late night hours, trying to figure out how someone could be hacking into the secured computer system. When Aaron’s office is broken into and everything cleared out, the investigating detective looks at Renee as the prime suspect. Is it possible the woman Aaron is beginning to fall in love with could be the brains behind all his recent troubles?
I have to say that Cords of Love is one of the best Heartsong books I’ve ever read. Lynn Coleman has penned an intriguing suspense that tantalizes the reader’s mind with each new twist and turn. I wracked my brain trying to figure out who could be causing all of Aaron’s problems and was surprised with the actual perpetrator. I loved the heart-warming romance between Aaron and Renee, two people being pulled together despite the fact that neither is looking for love. Lynn Coleman’s stimulating style of storytelling will pull you right in and hold your interest until the final page. Cords of Love is certain to capture your heart and keep you up into the wee hours of the morning, because once started, you won’t be able to set this thrilling book aside.
