Newlyweds, Peter and Mae Morgan face the difficult choice of changing more than jobs when they prayerfully consider leaving high-paced city careers, to take over the family farm, after Peter's grandfather dies. Once the decision is made and changes are in place, the real test comes. Farm life proves more difficult than the tranquil life they anticipated and while it keeps Peter busy, Mae struggles to find her place. Will the fragile new marriage stand like Peter's grandparents did? In this small town setting, a grieving, yet helpful, grandmother and loving neighbors dole out wisdom and advice, even when not solicited, to the young couple. Soon, the reader is living life on the farm, collecting eggs, watching the crops and hoping this endearing couple will survive.
