Alexis is faced with tough decisions. If she should try and rescue Joe from the circumstances targeting Joe’s dismissal, would he love her for herself—or what she can do for him?
Blameless is a modern day retelling of the biblical story of Job. It is extremely well-done and well-written, holding the readers interest. A times Alexis seems to act less than professionally, and her secretary over-steps her boundaries routinely in the name of protecting Alexis from herself. Joe also has friends trying to guide his steps and decisions that he needs to make.
Blameless is the first book I’ve read by Thom Lemmons, and I hope it won’t be the last. Mr. Lemmons is a master at creating realistic characters that you grow to care for, and situations that you want to cheer them through, and hope they come out ahead. The faith message is expertly woven in and isn’t preachy—in fact I barely noticed it and had to go back through and look for it. Romance readers will not want to miss Blameless. Even though it is written by a male, the elements are all there and in place. Bravo! $12.99. 243 pages.
