If you’ve ever gone to camp, you’ve probably written letters to your family and friends. Bettina, who is spending the summer at Camp Oggie-Waaa-Waaa, is doing just that. She’s writing to her Aunt Tallulah and Uncle Reginald. Only these letters are rather unusual. And its not the what, it’s the where–Antarctica.

Of course, Aunt Tallulah is writing back. In fact, she doing a bit more than writing. She’s sending goody packages with the most unusual surprises in them. Just imagine pulling out a hand-knitted extra-extra-extra long scarf, a giant hat, or a pair of gloves with six fingers.

Then there’s all of Aunt Tallulah and Uncle Reginald’s adventures; like Uncle Reginald’s mustache being frozen onto his camera, or getting lost and spending the night in a penguin rookery just to name a few.

The best thing about this book is the style it is written in; as letters between Bettina and Aunt Tallulah. The hilarious, detailed illustrations complement the story. Every time you read the book, you notice little things in the pictures you never saw before.

I highly recommend this book to anyone! Our neighbor's toddler thought the book was great, and I agree! Don’t just watch for this book. Hunt it down!
