Title: And If I Die Author: John Aubrey Anderson Publisher: Faith Words ISBN: 978-0-446-57952-0 Genre: Inspirational/Sci- fi
In 1945 a direct attack on Missy Parker has spread from Cat Lake across time, geography and the path of everyone in it’s wake. Mose Washington and his grandson are on the lam in 1968, after feeling Cat Lake, hiding under assumed names.
Evil continues to attack, and it manifests itself in various forms. Mose tries to guard Bill against the dangerous forces. An assassin in hired, Bill becomes engaged in an extremely dangerous sport, and his resistance to God increases.
A rodeo confrontation ignites cataclysmic events that show the persistence of evil… an evil that is more than can be endured by mankind. The enemy is alive and well, and good guys don’t always win. What was once just part of a bedtime prayer becomes an all-too-real consideration: AND IF I DIE?
And If I Die is the third book in the popular Black or White Chronicles by Mr. Anderson. I strongly suggest reading the books in order as they all tie in together. The beginning of the book was rather disjointed as it jumps from point of view to point of view, scene to scene, and it’s written in the narrative view point. However, once one gets into the story the events all begin to mesh together so one can actually understand what is going on.
Fantasy and sci fi are not my favorite genres, so I’m probably not the best person to review them. I never did enjoy any of these books. However, they are well-written. They are tied together with no loose ends that I can find, and I’m sure they’ll appeal greatly to any one who loves either fantasy or sci fi, or even spiritual warfare stories. $19.99 hardback. 338 pages.
